"It was an honor to just be asked to submit my motorsports photography for exhibition consideration by The Annenberg Space for Photography. I was somewhat amazed that they would even consider auto racing for their sports photography exhibition," Allio admitted. "The news that my work was selected for this exclusive presentation is a gratifying recognition that motorsports are now equal to other professional sports." All of the Allio photographs selected for showing at The Annenberg Space for Photography were created during the 2009 auto racing season using Nikon digital cameras and lenses, and includes images from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hickory Motor Speedway, Gresham Motorsports Park, and O'Reilly Raceway Park.
