A Gulf fritillary Agraulis vanillae feeds on Seaside Goldenrod Solidago mexicana. Multiple Gulf fritillary were sighted on a sunny 96F afternoon in a sandy Florida marsh edging the Gulf of Mexico. This specimen has been verified and accepted in the photographic library of the Butterflies and Moths of North America (BAMONA) project.
