Little Finland – National Monument Series
This sandstone formation in Little Finland appears to be taller than nearby outcrops, but the Geologic Distortion is barely one foot above the surrounding sandstone. The lands of Gold Butte National Monument1, including Little Finland, are now being examined for possible removal from protected status established by the American Antiquity Act of 1906.
